Substation Scout

Interconnection queue browser

Two separate reference tools for the PJM and ERCOT generator interconnection queues. Filter by county, substation, voltage, status, fuel and capacity.

These are deliberately not merged. PJM uses 16 status values; ERCOT uses composite milestone strings. Fuel coding diverges too (PJM “Storage” vs ERCOT “OTH/BA”). A combined table would imply a comparability that does not exist.

What the data is

Every project the ISO has published in its public queue filings, including withdrawn and cancelled requests. Withdrawn projects are hidden by default in the browse views because they are the majority of the PJM record (7,223 of 10,138), but they can be toggled back on.

Missing values are labelled “Not reported” rather than left blank. Voltage is derived from point-of-interconnection text, so it is absent for some projects; 1,884 PJM and 287 ERCOT records have no stated kV. A capacity of 0 MW is a real filed value (repowering net change or energy-only request), not missing data.
